Peter Witte

Photographer Peter Witte has documented the beauty of death in a rather subtle, yet morbid manner in this stunning series of flower photographs. The faded colouration and subject matter create a truely crypt like feel, showing death and degredation as the flowers slowly die and remain in their shrivelled faded beauty until they crumble to dust. The images are both beautiful and haunting as they reflect the human condition and our inevitable future. Maybe that is just a rather negative take on some really stunning photographs!
