Sherrye Shelley: Photorealistic embroidery

I am currently running a small series of posts on a few wonderful, lesser known textile artists. A lovely forum is offering up their creations to help inspire you all, and one of these great creators is a lady called Sherrye Shelley. Sherrye creates elaborate, freehand machine embroidery pieces that are sometimes so realistic it is hard to believe they are just thread! You can see more of her work and chat to her on her facebook page: Thread Head Studios – https://www.facebook.com/Thread-Head-Studio-372047356305371/?fref=photo
